Terms and Conditions
These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using Pay Charge to connect payment processors, collect payments, and manage your team.
Effective September 22, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, accessing Pay Charge, or using any Pay Charge service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Pay Charge for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Pay Charge provides
Pay Charge is software that lets businesses connect their own supported payment processor accounts, create manual charges and payment links, view limited transaction records, and manage team access. Pay Charge is not a bank, card network, money transmitter, merchant acquirer, or payment processor. Payments are processed and settled by the processor you connect.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be legally able to enter a contract and use payment services in your location. Account information must be accurate and kept current. You are responsible for account activity, passwords, authenticator settings, team access, and promptly disabling access that is no longer authorized.
4. Merchant accounts and credentials
You may connect only payment accounts that you own or are authorized to operate. You are responsible for your processor agreement, fees, reserves, disputes, chargebacks, refunds, settlement, taxes, and compliance obligations. Keep API credentials current and revoke them if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Pay Charge for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, sanctioned, or prohibited transactions; to test stolen payment details; to evade processor rules; or to interfere with the service. You must obtain the customer's authorization before charging them and provide accurate invoices and descriptions.
6. Customer payments and disputes
Funds move between your customer and your connected processor. Pay Charge does not hold or control those funds. You are responsible for customer service, fulfillment, cancellations, taxes, chargebacks, and refunds relating to payments you collect. Processor decisions and outages may affect a transaction.
7. Plans, subscriptions, and team seats
The Standard plan is free and currently supports Stripe and PayPal. Pro is currently $9 per month and unlocks additional gateways and features. Each active team seat is currently $5 per month. Prices may change with advance notice. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through Billing.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel or change a paid plan from Billing. Unless required by applicable law, subscription and team-seat charges are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. Access normally continues through the paid billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
9. Availability and third-party services
We work to keep Pay Charge available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may depend on third-party processors and services. Their terms, availability, verification requirements, and decisions are outside our control.
10. Intellectual property
Pay Charge and its software, design, branding, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes while your account remains in good standing.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, comply with law, investigate misuse, prevent security risks, collect overdue fees, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using Pay Charge and close your account, subject to outstanding obligations.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pay Charge is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages; processor actions; chargebacks; customer disputes; or losses caused by unauthorized account access. Our total liability for claims relating to paid services will not exceed the fees you paid Pay Charge during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the contact information on your account. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
